Looking for a Brandon Weeden jersey? Well you came to the right place!
After a great year last year, Oklahoma State is in a position to have an outside chance to reach the BCS title game. Mostly with a great offense and improving defense, OSU just beat a decent Texas team to put them near the top 5 teams in all of college football. Normally this the time of year where they have collapsed in the past, but hopefully not anymore. It is good to see new teams at the top every now and again.
In a few weeks OSU will take on the Oklahoma Sooners, in which could be a battle to see who goes to the BCS title game come January of next year. While in the past the Sooners have a good record in this rivalry, this year could be different. This is the best OK. St. team in many years, especially since the QB play of Brandon Weeden is up there with the best QB’s in all of college football.
If OSU can play some decent defense and not get behind by a few touchdowns early on, they should be able to hang with OU for the rest of the game.
However, that is at the end of the year and they have some big games that they cannot overlook. Baylor brings QB Griffin to the table and he will give the Cowboys all they can handle throwing the ball down field for much of the game. Also, an undefeated Kansas State team will prove to be a challenge as well. While they have not played anyone really tough yet, never rule out KSU as they can bring a tough defense to the table each and every week of the college football season.
So, if Weeden can keep throwing TD’s and not turning the ball over, OK St. should be able to make a run at the title. He has a strong arm and quick release and those are the things you need against a top notch defense.
