Brandon Lloyd St Louis Rams Jersey

Looks like Brandon Lloyd will now be in a St Louis Rams jersey before game day next Sunday.

Do I think this was a surprise to many?  Yes, but with the Broncos struggling and probably not wanting to pay him a long term deal, a trade was definitely foreseeable.  But the fact they only got a mid round pick is kinda shocking. This guy was a leading receiver in the NFL last year.

So why did the Rams want him?  Well, my guess is McDaniels, who coached Lloyd last year in Denver, was big on this guy from the start. And with Bradford struggling to get guys open down the field, this was a no brainier. He should get 15 targets a game and that will free up Steven Jackson to run a bit more freely.

Also, Denver knew he really did not fit the new style that John Fox was running.  Maybe there was some behind the scenes conflicts as well. We may never know the true story but the fact is Brandon Lloyd is in St Louis and will be looking to get the ball often.  For a long term deal he needs to have a good last 10 games or so to ensure a good contract.

Lloyd is a game breaker with good hands and great speed. He runs crisp routes and should excel in the offense that Josh McDaniels is running. Not much else is working, but that is more to do with the lack of speed and the fact the defense puts them in a deep hole quite often. This team could still win the NFC West, but they have to start winning now. The 49ers are not going to slow down anytime soon, so the Rams need to get to at least 9-7 to have a shot to win the division.

Cheap Drew Brees Jerseys

The New Orleans Saints are still undefeated and finding  Drew Brees jerseys may be a tough thing to do.  While his could be having a potential MVP season, the goal is to win the Super Bowl.  You may have to pay good money to find a jersey of his, but there are still some ways you can find a cheap one.

I find some of my best deals on sites where they are offering a clearance sale. Sometimes certain jerseys or players do not sell well and the companies have way too many of one certain item in stock. Then they deeply discount that item and that is where you come in and snag a great deal. This also works for other sports like baseball and basketball players.  The key is to get the clearance specials while they last. You might not even to be able to find a Brees jersey there, but it is worth a shot. Other Saints such as Reggie Bush, Marques Colston and Jeremy Shockey might be easier to find on sale.

Another option is to be used. You can really get some steals if you are willing to deal with some wear and tear on your clothes. Also, check out some of his older Chargers or Purdue ones where he played a few years ago. You might be able to find a cheap one of those instead.

Looks like Brees just lost one of his big play RB’s.  Reggie Bush has been traded to the Miami Dolphins and should provide them with some instant offense.  The Bush Dolphins jersey should be a top seller this fall as they are looking for a big name to draw the fans to the game and buy some gear. Gotta love marketing.

NFL Trade!!  What a way to start the new season.  Players moving around and teams paying big money!

For all the old McNabb and Eagles fans out there it is going to be a very different year out there.  Ever since being drafted McNabb has always been an Eagle, but all that changed this off-season when the Washington Redskins signed him to be their guy to get them over the edge.  Year in and out McNabb has been a top 10 NFL quarterback for the better part of the last decade.  He has a strong accurate arm and quick feet that allow him to make plays all over the field.

Now, the Eagles must turn to Houston Cougar QB Kevin Kolb to fill in his shoes.  The Kolb jersey has been a decent seller this offseason as he put up some big yardage games last year when Donovan was hurt.  He has a strong arm and has many weapons so I bet he could hit 25- 30 touchdowns this year.

The real problem he is going to have is stopping the interceptions.  He has tried to force a few too many throws and that could be a major downfall as turnovers lose games. However, he will recover and one day earn a big contract in the NFL.

Kevin Kolb is a little known guy but he will have to step up to the Philadelphia fans this fall or risk losing his starting job.  The booed McNabb so Kolb is open for fire too.  With Maclin and Jackson as good wide outs he should have some very long touchdown passes this fall.  Getting to the NFC  Title game may be a stretch, but I do think they can make the playoffs if their team plays some good defense and they do not turn the ball over too much.

The NFC is going to be good again this year with the Saints returning most of their Super Bowl team and you will have some other good teams that are hungry and looking for a Super Bowl shot as well.

Update:  Looks like the Kevin Kolb trade finally went through.  Now you will see a Kolb Arizona Cardinals jersey and Cromartie will be in an Eagles jersey this fall.
