Affordable Lacrosse Jerseys

Spring is in there air again and the warm temperatures mean it is time for spring sports to start. Lacrosse is played in both spring and fall around here and many people love the sport and one of the tricky things to do is to find a lacrosse jersey for their kids or themselves.

Most stores all carry basketball and football stuff, but lacrosse jerseys are tougher to come by without spending an arm and a leg.

Some people even like to buy college lacrosse jerseys since they look cool and are a unique sport that not every one has a jersey of.  I have never played the sport myself but by watching it I see how tough and skilled you have to be to compete.

The game of lacrosse is a bit different than other sports as the goal is in the field and you can go way behind it and attack from the rear if you want to. It took me a while to get used to this but by the end of the game I thought it was very cool how they set up the field.

I watched a Syracuse lacrosse game a while back and these guys are awesome.  They are so much better than my local high school and I could hear the hard hits from the stands. They truly play at the next level of competition and only few people could make the team at that level.

Overall I think the sport is a tough one and I respect anyone that plays this impressive game. I do not think I would suit up as the big guys hit hard out there.

Cheerleading Uniforms and Shoes

One of the hardest and least appreciated sports out there is cheerleading. These girls, and some guys, work hard all year round to support their teams in every sport they play.  They play through injuries, practice often, and do the other things that all other sports do so it is best to show them some respect. They also require the same types of equipment that the other people do, so it is important to have  quality cheerleading uniforms and shoes.

Finding cheap cheerleading uniforms can be hard if you have the buy them from your team store or through a certain place. The prices are often fixed and there is nothing you can do to lower the price of your cheerleading uniform. The thing you have to do is see if you can order elsewhere for cheaper and then see if the team will allow it. This can save quite a bit of money on everyone’s cheerleading uniforms. You have to ask though or you will never know.

Cheerleading shoes are another important part of the uniform. Without proper shoes you risk having an injury and risking your entire career. Cheering is a tough sport and injuries due happen, so be sure to find some quality cheerleading shoes.  You might be able to find cheap shoes, but they may not have good quality, so find out what the best deal you can get on good shoes is and go with those.

All in all it is not cheap to be a cheerleader. The uniforms and shoes and other apparel all add up to thousands of dollars.  It is worth it though with all the positives that are gained from being part of a team and competing at the highest level.  Many cheerleading teams travel across their area to competitions often. This can also add increased costs, but try to find a way to make things cheaper for everyone. Some people cannot afford it especially if they have more than one kid.

Volleyball jerseys, shorts, & shoes

As with most youth sports, volleyball requires a large investment of time and money in order to play the sport, as well as the apparel involved in prepared to be on the team.  It takes a lot of skill just to make the team, so that should be a huge accomplishment in itself.  Then comes the money you have to spend for volleyball jerseys.  These can cost quite a bit and finding cheap ones can be hard if you are required to order through the school or university team store.  There are cheaper ways to get the gear if you are allowed to go elsewhere.  Once you have your volleyball jersey it is time to focus on the shoes.

Volleyball shoes are extremely important to the sport.  You must have excellent traction on the floor and be able to have great ankle and leg support as well. There are many knee and ankle injuries that occur due to improper shoes being used.  Quick movements have to be made when going for a dig or spike or even trying to save the ball from going out of bounds. Good volleyball shoes will be able to provide you with all the support necessary to play the sport at the highest level. Cheap shoes may not be the best bet since they may not last the whole season.

Once you have you volleyball shoes and jersey, you can focus on the other things you may or may not need.  Some people like to have certain volleyball shorts.  They can make you feel better and allow for better movement on the court.  In any sport, if you are not comfortable you will not perform at your highest level, so be sure to have a good fitting pair of volleyball shorts.

Sometimes things come up and it is very hard to afford all this volleyball apparel that is needed to compete. There are ways to save money by asking the coach or other players what they do and how to keep the costs down. No one wants to spend too much on a jersey, shoes, or a pair of shorts. By asking around everyone can benefit and maybe help each other find cheap apparel that everyone can use.

After the season is over and you are going to play again next year, see if it is okay to use that stuff again for the next volleyball season. I am sure the stuff will still be good by then. Good luck.
