While the Indiana Pacers are not having a good year, that is not full of star player Danny Granger. He’s one of the best players in the NBA right now.
He’s very athletic and can shoot and score with the best of the other players in the league if you were to order any Indiana Pacers jersey I would order a Danny Granger jersey. Who’s up for Granger they could be the worst team in the NBA right now.
with Larry Bird running the team I think the Pacers will turn around soon. They have some good young talent, but they just cannot get everyone on the same page right now.
With the use they have in the high draft picks coming up they should be able to be competitive again soon. It has not been since Reggie Miller that a player of Granger’s talent has been in Indiana. He should be an All-Star for many years to come and help lead the Pacers to the playoffs again soon.
With the NBA draft coming up in June it will be interesting to see which direction the Pacers go with their first-round pick. They have many holes to fill but I could go with a big man or point guard to help run the show.
While it is a down year for them they should be able to have a nice draft, get some young talent, and be able to compete in the Eastern conference again soon, since this conference is not nearly as good as the Western Conference in the NBA.
While it could be some time before they can compete with the likes of Cleveland, Boston, and Orlando in the east, making the playoffs should be an attainable goal for the 2010-2011 season. It will be intersting to see what the off season brings and if they sign any of the big free agents out there.
