The Florida Marlins entered the season with a lot of confidence with all young, they have. The real question will be is how quickly the young players can develop and allow the Marlins to be competitive in a National League Eastern division in 2010.
The Marlins are one of those teams that is good for a few years been back for a few more years, since they often are either adding a bunch of players in order to win, or they are trading a bunch of players to save money and rebuild. Either way this team has had success and will probably be successful again soon.
The Marlins are led by Hanley Ramirez, he is a great ballplayer and knock in runs, that for high average, steal bases, and play great defense. The Hanley Ramirez jersey was a top seller for the Marlins last year. He batted almost 350 and drove in over 100 runs leading the team in both categories.
Another guy that was very good with the bat was Dan Uggla, who is a power hitter who can change the game with a swing of the bat. Florida Marlins apparel is over the top seller down South Florida. Perhaps T-shirts and other Marlins gear looks cool and people of all ages enjoy to where it.
Josh Johnson is probably one of the best pitchers in the National League right now as he had 15 wins last year and a ERA just a little over 3.00.
They have a lot other young talent on the staff so we interest you see a quickly lose guys develop and make the Marlins competitor again. They are in the same division with the Phillies for things to be tough, but Florida could make a run at a wild-card.
Either way, the National League should have an interesting season and we will have to see how quickly the Marlins developed as they can make a run at a title again.
