I can tell you one thing, whether you think he will be a good NFL quarterback is irrelevant, after draft day the Tim Tebow jersey will be the most sought after jersey from the 2010 NFL draft. Some say he may not be quick enough or accurate enough or know how to read a zone, but this guy is a champion and he will find a way to succeed.
As a Florida Gator he lead Gator Nation to a couple NCAA BCS championships and also won a Heisman and almost every other award during his 4 year college career. Tebow can also play another position if he had too, but I think he will make a good quarterback. It may not be for a few years, but he will be okay. Just look at Aaron Rodgers or Matt Cassel, they sat on the bench for a long time and came out playing like stars. People will quickly judge him if he does not play right away but Tebow will not be phased by the negativity.
He has won at every level and has what it takes to succeed in the NFL too. He could also play tight end if the QB thing does not work out. His size, smarts, and pure hustle will get him far enough to be a viable player in the league. I proudly own a Tim Tebow jersey and am not afraid to support him during his poor Senior Bowl outing or poor NFL combine if he has one. Numbers do not tell the whole story with this guy and you cannot judge him by form. Brett Favre did not have good form and look how he did.
The NFL draft will probably have other QB’s go before Tebow. Both Jimmy Clausen and Sam Bradford could go in the top 10, with Colt McCoy going later in the first round. Do not let this fool you into thinking they will all be better. Tom Brady was not picked until later in the draft and he is doing just fine.
There are also two other Florida Gators that look like they will have great NFL careers. Many think Joe Haden will be drafted in the top 10 and Brandon Spikes in the top 15. Now is the time to get a Florida Joe Haden jersey before they do not make them anymore. He will be a great defensive back in the pros and should be around awhile.
Brandon Spikes jersey should also be raised quickly on draft day this year. This powerful linebacker should be able to quickly adapt to the next level. Many times it takes shorter time for a linebacker to play as a rookie since they are not on an island like corner-backs are.
