Gerald Wallace is one of the best dunkers in the NBA today.  His jersey flies by defenders as he throws the hammer down. The Charlotte Bobcats are playing well now and if it was not for Wallace they would not be in the position they are today in the Eastern Conference.  Many people do not own a Gerald Wallace jersey since he goes virtually unnoticed down in Carolina.  He is talented and is also a great rebounder, but does not get the same attention as a Tim Duncan or Carlos Boozer, even though his stats are quite similar.  I think this year he will start to get noticed more if they make it to the playoffs.

Michael Jordan has a stake in this company and Larry Brown is going to be a tough coach that really lead his team to success. I saw him play once against the Cavs and Lebron James and was really impressed with his style of play and athleticism.  I think he could be an all star player for years to come if a few things go his way.

The Bobcats have not done too well since coming back to Charlotte.   The Hornets used to play there and were very successful with Larry Johnson and Alonzo Mourning, but then the franchise left town not due to issues with getting a new arena.  They had great fan following in the 1990′s, but started to decline after 2000.

They run an up and down offense that is really exciting to watch and I think more people will go to the NBA games but it may take time.  Some cities due not support their teams as good as others, but the Bobcats are improving and I think it will only be a matter of time until they get back to one of the best teams in the East.

Wallace will also be competing in this year’s slam dunk contest during NBA All Star weekend.  This will be really cool to watch since Nate Robinson is competing again as well.
