JJ Hickson has become a very valuable player for the Cleveland Cavs. He was drafted out of NC State and his worn his jersey proud in the year or so he has been with the Cavs. Sometimes it takes young talent like JJ to reach the starting lineup, but he is working hard and is already and great shot blocker and rebounder.
Many people think just because he has not had a huge career yet that he is not good. Well, it takes time to develop in the NBA and Lebron will make sure he learns what he needs to know. Many of the 2nd round draft picks do not make the teams so it is okay that he has not done great yet. Many guys take off in their 3rd year so it is only a matter of time before his talent emerges to help the Cavs win a NBA title.
The Cavs really need a boost now since their defense is kind of struggling. Hickson should be able to provide that lift when he is ready to do so.
