Never thought I would see the day.  Shaq going from being a LA Laker a few years ago to just now signing with the Boston Celtics.  Imagine Magic signing with the Celtics later in his career!

The fact is clear that Shaq wants a 5th ring and will do whatever it takes. He went to the right place as the Celtics are a defensive minded team that can use his minutes and allow some rest for the other guys that are getting up there in age too. Perkins is a good center, but does not have much offense, so Shaq will help in that area.

I think with Allen, Pierce, Rondo and KG, Shaquille O’Neal could find himself winning another ring.  He tried with Cleveland and that just fell through quicker than Lebron left Cleveland.

It is funny to see guys hunt for rings later in their career. Seems to be they are not happy finishing their playing days where they started. Unless of course they are on a winner.  Wonder what Ernie Banks thinks of all this free agency?

So I bet you are wondering where to find a Shaq Boston jersey.   Well, me too, I cannot find a Shaq Celtics jersey for the life of me and I am supposed to be the jersey king.  I bet they will have it listed on the website soon, but you could do a custom green jersey and just put O’Neal on the back with his number.  Might look kinda homemade, but a hardcore fan would do it.

On a side not Shaq Versus comes on again soon and it will be cool to watch him drive a Nascar and do all the other things he loves to do.  I think playing basketball is not as high on his list as it used to be, lol.

I bet Kobe wishes he would just hang it up so he finishes with more rings than the big man.  They say they are cool, but you really have to wonder.  Shaq made that nice little rap about him so I do not think Kobe forgets.  Cannot wait for the NBA season to start with all the drama that will happen.
