The Brandon Jennings jersey is flying off the shelf.  This rookie is dominating in his first year in the NBA for the Milwaukee Bucks.  His story does not start here though. Jennings was a high school star and instead of playing basketball he decided to play in Europe.  The NBA rules do not allow you to play right after high school and he did not want to go play in college.  He got almost 2 million dollars for this choice as well as good endorsement deals.

After having an up and down year in Europe he declared for the NBA draft in 2009.  He was taken 10th by the Bucks and proceeded to come out pf the box hot and score many points and give many assists in his first few games in the league. He even scored 55 points in one game and has a chance to be an All Star this year, and probably the rookie of the year too.

Many questioned his choice to forgo college, but it seems to have paid off so far. He was going to play at Arizona and would have only stayed one year anyway.  Injuries are always a risk and he knew he could get a guaranteed payday now.

The Bucks have a decent team and should be able to sneak into the Eastern Conference playoffs.  The east is pretty weak now and it should not take much for them to get in.  They might be able to get a mid level seed if they play up to their abilities.

It will be fun to watch Jennings jersey fly by people on the court. He is fast and has a good shot, so he should be around the league awhile.
