NFL Trade!!  What a way to start the new season.  Players moving around and teams paying big money!

For all the old McNabb and Eagles fans out there it is going to be a very different year out there.  Ever since being drafted McNabb has always been an Eagle, but all that changed this off-season when the Washington Redskins signed him to be their guy to get them over the edge.  Year in and out McNabb has been a top 10 NFL quarterback for the better part of the last decade.  He has a strong accurate arm and quick feet that allow him to make plays all over the field.

Now, the Eagles must turn to Houston Cougar QB Kevin Kolb to fill in his shoes.  The Kolb jersey has been a decent seller this offseason as he put up some big yardage games last year when Donovan was hurt.  He has a strong arm and has many weapons so I bet he could hit 25- 30 touchdowns this year.

The real problem he is going to have is stopping the interceptions.  He has tried to force a few too many throws and that could be a major downfall as turnovers lose games. However, he will recover and one day earn a big contract in the NFL.

Kevin Kolb is a little known guy but he will have to step up to the Philadelphia fans this fall or risk losing his starting job.  The booed McNabb so Kolb is open for fire too.  With Maclin and Jackson as good wide outs he should have some very long touchdown passes this fall.  Getting to the NFC  Title game may be a stretch, but I do think they can make the playoffs if their team plays some good defense and they do not turn the ball over too much.

The NFC is going to be good again this year with the Saints returning most of their Super Bowl team and you will have some other good teams that are hungry and looking for a Super Bowl shot as well.

Update:  Looks like the Kevin Kolb trade finally went through.  Now you will see a Kolb Arizona Cardinals jersey and Cromartie will be in an Eagles jersey this fall.

This guy may not be liked by some people, but let me tell you one thing, Randy Moss is a lock for the hall of fame. He will be in Canton someday and could be NFL’s all time touchdown leader.  The  81 jersey is also known for Terrell Owens, but Moss I think will have a better career when it is all said and done.

Moss could have went to Notre Dame or Florida State, but had some problems that led him to Marshall University.  There he set many records and really helped put that school on the map.  He lead them to the I-AA championship before Marshall moved up to the big time college ranks. Many thought he was one of the greatest college receivers of all time, but by playing lesser competition no one was sure how he would do against the best.

He was drafted by the Vikings and some questioned his character.  He has proven those things to be false though as he is rarely in the spotlight off the field these days.  The Vikings got a steal as he quickly dominated the football teams he played against.  Corner-backs could not cover him and he quickly became one of the best wide receivers in the league.

After 2004, and after setting many NFL records for seasons and single games, he was traded to the Oakland Raiders. His time there was not good as the team was really bad and had trouble getting a good look at his jersey. Moss was often frustrated and not happy about the outcomes of the games.

In 2007 the Patriots traded for Moss and just gave up a 4th round pick to get him. What a steal. He helped them to a perfect regular season, but he came up short in the Super Bowl again.  He resigned with New England and may end his career there. He is currently 2nd behind Jerry Rice for all time touchdown receptions.  Randy has been known to give to charity and hosts a bass fishing tournament to benefit people as well.

Update: Moss is now a Viking again. Wow, I cannot believe it that he is no longer in New England.  The Moss Vikings jersey will now be flying off the shelf.  Hopefully Randy is happy in Minnesota and can get them back on track. Wow.

Delonte West Cavs Star

While he has had some trouble off the court and has battled some issues for the past few years, Delonte West is one of the reasons why the Cavs are where they are as the number 1 seed overall in the NBA playoffs. He plays hard defense and can score when needed. While he is not as prolific as he was before, that is mainly because Cleveland has more weapons than they used to.
 
With just signing Antawn Jamison and prior to that getting Shaq in the off season, there is little wonder to notice the reason why his production is slightly down from years past. Do not take that into him getting any worse, as he could still score if he got the minutes he used to and the other players where not wearing a Cavs jersey too.
 
I think the Delonte West jersey is often worn around the Q as many people try to show their respect for him and hope he gets over whatever has been bothering him in the past. The Cleveland fans love their team and show it by wearing Cavs jerseys and gear all around the great city by the lake. Some hate it, but I think it is a good place to visit.
 
I remember him playing with Nelson back at St. Joes and they made it to the Final Four before losing. That team has never been the same after losing those two star ballers! I bet they may never have two guards of that caliber again, as they both were great in college.
 
Most Cavilers fans know their sports and without sports they would not know what to do. I feel bad that they have not won a title in so many years so maybe this year is it to break out of the funk. If they happen to win it all, I bet the city will party for one week in a row and never sleep. It would be a wild time.
