This guy is going to be a star in the NFL and everyone is going to want to have a Suh jersey or jerseys in their house. The Nebraska Defensive Lineman is very impressive and almost won the Heisman Trophy. Most defensive linemen never would think about winning that award but his guy is amazing. He tackled Colt McCoy with one arm. That is enough for me to draft him with the first or second pick.
Suh has speed and power in his body and that transforms out from his jersey onto the opposition. While the Big 12 is not the same as the NFL, this league has many talented players and none of them could stop Suh.
He is a gentle giant and should prove to be a worthy pick of any team. Maybe the Rams, Lions, Browns or other bad team will get him. Most linemen can make an immediate impact and once the Suh jerseys are worn in the stadium we will know all the fans are on board. This will happen I can see it know.
Any good fan knows that a successful team has a good offensive and defensive line. By following that strategy you can build a team up from the bottom in just a few years. Drafting Suh and having him on your team is a great start and I think that will happen. It is true I am a Nebraska Cornhusker fan but I still think he will be a great player.
Other guys I think will draft well, that did not get much recognition are Jake Locker, if he comes out, and Javon Snead and Tony Pike. All these guys are going to be good quarterbacks some day.
Update: With Suh being projected #1 right now, that would give him to the St. Louis Rams. Good, they need him.
Well, I was dead wrong. Suh did not go #1, but instead had his jersey called by the Detroit Lions. With a Lions Suh jersey on the defensive line, they should be much better against the run and pass next year.
