Brandon Roy is an up and coming talent out of Washington that now plays for Portland. The Roy jersey is not too popular yet, mainly because he plays out west. It took Clyde Drexler and JR Rider some time before people got to like them. Now, without Greg Oden’s jersey in the lineup for the rest of the year, Roy will again have to shoulder the load for this team. They are okay, but they need some more firepower.
Brandon can score, dribble, drive and pass with some of the best players in the league. He is a lot like Dwayne Wade in how he plays the game. Many underestimate how good of a shooter Roy is and he can go for 50 points on any given night. Portland has not had much success lately, but they are still very dangerous. Many of the past players became big stars and left the Trailblazers for more money in a big basketball market city. The Brandon Roy jersey can be found kinda cheap now since he has not been in the league very long. That will change though as he keeps making more all star teams and if he can lead his team to the Playoffs or the NBA finals.
Back with the Washington Huskies he lead them to the NCAA tournament and was a great PAC 10 player there. He dominated the guard position and people knew he was going to be a star in the NBA. It did not take long for him to get off the bench and play well. Now, people wish he would lead their team to the playoffs.
