Tyler Wilson is quietly replacing Ryan Mallet in Arkansas and has the Razorbacks in the top 10 of both the AP and USA today polls.  Much of their success can be attributed to #8 Wilson.

He is a very accurate passer that averages around 300 yards a game.  That is a lot considering they play in the tough SEC with many great defenses each week. Coach allows him to throw the ball deep and their is not a throw that he cannot make.

The 6’3” junior from the state has been very impressive.  He is always drawing the eye of some NFL scouts with his size and ability to run a pro style offense.  He has even been without his number 1 running back that got hurt really early in the college football season.

With just a few weeks left and a big game against LSU coming up, the Hogs control their own destiny in the SEC West.  Some think they have a very outside chance of sneaking into the BCS title game, but so much would have to happen it is not worth the time to talk about that situation just yet.

They need to focus on football each week and let the cards fall where they may.  You cannot take one week off in the SEC or you will be sorry and lose a game you were big favorites in.  Just ask Oklahoma, who lost to Texas Tech when they were 28 point favorites at home.  Things like this happen in college football every single week and each year has many upsets in the last month of the season. That is why they play the games on the field and not on the stat sheets.

My projection is for Arkansas to finish with two loses and maybe be an at large team to one of the BCS bowls.  However, if they can pull off the upset and beat LSU, anything would be possible then!
